Yesterday my Sony Experia Miro smatrphone arrived...... and it's bloody right handed: that's why.

To send it to sleep the button is at the top left corner. You lot only have to stretch a finger. I have to juggle the damned thing in my hand, or use two hands, or drop it!

To get it to wake up not only do I have a fight with the button I also have to push the icon over the lock and my thumb isn't long enough, all you rightful ones have to do is pull it - done.

And if I want to increase or decrease the call volume I have to use a finger in an odd way, whereas you so-an'-sos have the switch right where your thumb is.

Now, line up and take it like us lefties have always had to do.

Don't be daft. Phones aren't left or right handed. My phone has the sleep button at top right. It just depends.

Talking of phones, we went browsing the other week as John's due a new one from work this month and he needed to decide which to get from the choice he'd been given - some are flippin' enormous!
