Frank I have had blood clots in my leg in the past and know how painful it is. I think it is good practice that they are still treating you for a clot even though it may be an infection. xxx

Today is the first day in a long while that I have been able to walk without the aid of a stick or a crutch. The scans still show no sign of a clot, and the ABs have reduced the swelling so that my leg looks almost normal again. There is still some pain on the inside of my knee, which the doctors now think is slight ligament damage that I passed off as minor due to the level of pain I was experiencing in my foot and thumb.

The outcome is that I have been discharged into the care of my GP who I am due to see on Monday.

I have to thank you all once again for the VV vibes and I am another example of how effective they are. Thank you.

Aw, glad you're feeling loads better Frank :D thanks for updating . Just please do make sure that your GP has a copy of all hospital notes - just in case they're needed by the insurance.
