Dinner tonight

Postby Kaz » 04 Dec 2014, 16:46

I'm making a nice warming chicken Provencale, I had a pack of peppers and some chicken portions to use up :) I was going to do it in the slow cooker, but instead I'm using the cast iron casserole dish :D :D

Smells absolutely gorgeous :D :D

Mmmmmmmmm, sounds lovely too :D :D

I'm trying to use up old stuff in the freezer, so tonight we have rather old home-made burgers, chicken sausages, chips, baked beans and an egg. And becuase the baked beans are Traders Jim, I believe his name is, we always put piri-piri or bbq sauce with them.

Chicken breasts wrapped in streaky bacon, roasted peppers and carrots (I had some left over this week) and cheesy jacket pots.

We've been making room for the past couple of weeks, but then once we had some we put some more in
Not as much as we'd taken out though ;)

Not sure what we're having, it's a fast day, maybe one of our favourite fast day ones, a spicy veggie rice thing
This one, very simple but really tasty

The remains of the cabbage had gone a bit brown so instead we had a sort of Tuscan soup with loads of veg and beans :D
