Good Morning Saturday

Postby JoM » 29 Nov 2014, 07:14

Good morning all, it's too dark to see what the weather's doing.

Busy day today, haven't had chance to do the big weekly shop yet so we're off out to do that shortly and then Joe and myself are off to Manchester for the football this afternoon. John's tagging along though as he wants to go back to Saddleworth Moor for another bike ride, he loved it when he went last month, he wants an earlyish start though so we're leaving around 11. We can have a mooch around the city centre though before getting the tram down to Old Trafford.

Last night's concert was absolutely brilliant, no frills just pure talent and great music...had to laugh at Paul Heaton getting whatever he needed out of an Asda bag for life carrier  It was the kind of concert that you never want to end.

Have a good day all!

Morning all. :D

We've not done a big shop for over a week Jo - and it won't get done till Monday as we're too busy.

I've got my dyslexia/hearing course from 9.30 - 1pm today. :)

We're then all going to Mama Lucias in town for lunch. :D :D :D

Don's then meeting me and we're going into Malaga to do some C-word shopping and have a night out there. :D :D

More eating and definitely a few beers. ;) ;)

Will watch SCD tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning all :D

Up bright and early as we're off to visit Z and the boys. It's our anniversary on Monday so she's arranged a celebration lunch for us at their local pub. Eldest daughter M and the two younger grandchildren have driven down so it will be a lovely family get together. M is staying in a hotel overnight so we booked too and to round off the weekend we've arranged to treat them all to brekkie tomorrow morning.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)
It rained all evening and almost all night but it's now quite bright and meant to be a lovely day :D

Jo glad about last night and today sounds good too :)
Ally yours sounds a lovely day c-word shopping in Malaga would be fun :)
Kaz not quite such fun lol, but still enjoyable bits inbetween :)
Jen have a lovely time :)

Yesterday was a write-off, I was fit for nothing, thankfully feeling much better today but more has to be fitted in, can't win!
Bb's only working a little bit, then collecting youngest at 1; I need to go with him so he can show me how to get to the dog boarder's house, as I'll be coming back from London on the Tuesday afternoon and going to collect her. I have been before but it's a tricky little 'turn-off and round there' bit - and it'll be dark when I go.
Strictly and pizzas tonight :)

Morning everyone

Gorgeous now, but another disturbed night, with massive thunderstorms most of the night and very heavy rain. Hardly any wind, which was good.

Hope the course is enoyable and informative Ally :D

Grumpy is on a mission to get rid of the mould, which has appeared, as it does, every year    Nature of the building, sadly.

Pootling for us and curry for dinner :D

Hope you all have a great day, especially Jen and Mr J, sounds lovely.

Morning all, it's a nice day here. We've a busy day ahead, packing and bringing things to where we are storing our stuff. I have shopping to do and a prescription to get in the chemist. This afternoon we are taking Michael to the driving range for a while so his mum and dad can do some packing up of their own. Strictly tonight and we are baby sitting, going to have Kellie in our bedroom until they get home  She is sleeping more and more at night, but apparently makes a lot of noise in her sleep, so I suppose I won't get much sleep! Have a good day everyone :)

Good morning everybody,
Lovely sunshine here again. Getting colder but still warm considering it will be December in two days.
Getting Christmas decorations down from the loft today. May put some up later.
Hope those who are having bad weather are not too badly affected.

Morning all.

A pottering weekend ahead for me. In no particular order I need to - make onion marmalade, get the advent calendars out, start writing xmas cards, put the finishing touches to Micks books and email all the invoices to work so I can print them out there (save on my print cartridge), do the order of service for dads funeral :( :( , make raspberry jam and start sorting through the xmas presents to see what else I need.

They don't all need doing today - I shall save some until tomorrow!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
