How annoying Osc, I really hope you're wrong about the accommodation costs but I know I'd be thinking the same :? Have a lovely afternoon with Michael and his homework ;) Joe asked me for help with his English Lit a few weeks ago - flippin' Romeo And Juliet! I was cursing it just as much as I did 30 years ago when I did it for my O Level

Good afternoon all! John's gone to Betws-y-Coed with a few friends and their bikes today. He'd gone by the time I got out of the shower at 7am and had just posted a Strava reading of the completed ride so I expect he and his wet and muddy clothes will be home around 4. Tom's gone to Birmingham with school today, on a visit to the new ugly library with his English Language group. They were just walking down to the station to get the train, nice and easy. One of the cheapest school trips for a long time too, it's just cost £5.50 for his return train ticket

I started the day off with a lovely long walk with Billy, it was cold but sunny although I soon warmed up after walking up the first hill  I wrapped the Christmas presents that I've so far bought for the boys after getting back, that way they can't peep ;)

Have a good day all, thinking of you Debbie xx

Oh blimey Osc, how annoying :x The cynic in me agrees about the costs, but I hope we're wrong (((((((((((x)))))))))))))

Well the Christmas Market was lovely - B came with us as there was no uni today and we had lunch out too :) Lots of lovely stalls, I got several pressies including two beautiful life-sized ladies high-heeled shoes made out of Belgian chocolate, ideal for my sisters-in-law, some fancy ciders in a presentation box for his nibs, and some doggies advent calendars and biscuits for the dogs :D Becky had a beaker of mulled cider as we went round, it smelled delish so I tried a sip, but it was a bit spicy for me  They had the usual entertainers, and the stall holders were all in costume - very festive 8-) :D

Then as we'd had to park in Sainsbury's carpark as the Quays one was full, we thought we ought to pop in! :P I only wanted bin liners but noticed they were doing their doubled up Nectar points in certain departments, including clothing, so got Mick a very nice chunky pullover and jammies towards his Christmas presents 8-) So a productive day really 8-)

Have a lovely time Di! :D

Kaz that sounds really lovely, glad you had a good time! The German market opened in Birmingham last week, I can't wait to go (a few times  ) and I'm already trying to decide what I'll have to eat, there's always a good choice. A hot chocolate with Baileys is a must though!

Lol Jo so am I :D

Just this year they've started having street food stalls all year on Thursdays and Fridays, so I'm hoping they still have those as well as the German stalls ;)
I have A List, which is so much better than just wandering about wondering what to buy.
I really want:
A pair of jeans
A top to go with that gold skirt I got yesterday
And a red skirt. Don't ask me why, just one of those things :D

Fingers crossed for the street food ;)

Tom was by the market today - he said that there was a stall selling reindeer burgers. Not very Christmassy is it!? :o
