Winter coat/jacket

I need a longer jacket or a coat for work this year, didn't want to spend too much as it's mainly for wearing to and from work. But it has to be warm and snug!

I've trailed everywhere looking for one such coat....finally found one that I thought fitted the bill in BHS last week and after LOTS of umming and aahing, I bought it. But now I'm not so sure.....please be honest - is it a grandma coat?

Well I hope not as it's quite similar to my John Rocha jacket from last winter - in style anyway as mine is a bronzey green colour

It's nice Gal, the colour is lovely, and it will keep you good and warm

Parkas are everywhere this year! I bought a green fishtail one a few weeks ago from Primark, I only went in to get Joe some socks. I saw it and loved it, cheap and cheerful but it'll do for tatting about in - John says he's going to stencil The Jam on the back

I've not worn the BHS purple one yet, in fact the tags are still on it and it's still in the BHS bag I brought it home in! I'm sorely tempted....

The green one on the second Matalan one you posted is quite like the one I had from Primark. I only bought it for tatting around in, walking Billy etc but really love it so I've been wearing it to death.
