Odds or evens.

No it's not a betting game.

I was just wondering if people prefer odd or even numbers.

I prefer odd numbers, but I have no rational explanation as to why. They just seem to fit my way of thinking and doing things.

There's a small selection of numbers I like, but they're a mixture 8-)

Numbers and me do not get on -   ask Grumpy

If I have a column of figures, I normally add them up three times. If the number is the same twice, then that's what I'll go for   Sometimes, I've even gone for about 5 times

In saying that - put a pack of cards in front of me and I'm as quick as lightning

Well, speaking as an ex-accountant, as long as the figures on the side nearest the window add up to the same as the figures on the side nearest the filing cabinet, I don't really care what they are! :geek:

Just bring me another cup of coffee ......

(9 is a good figure. If you ever have a discrepancy which divides by 9, then you've reversed a figure somewhere in your listings. For example, if you have a difference of 27 in your reconciliation, well, that divides by 9. What you'll find is that you've written 63 somewhere instead of 36, or you've written 58 instead of 85 .... works every time! :D )

I've no preference.

But my 'lucky' numbers are 3 and 9.
