Morning all, pleasant looking morning out there, yesterday was lovely and mild. Got up a bit early today to see a little dinosaur going off ready for his school Halloween party (so cute, photo later). I was at the doc the other day and she recommended I do Pilates, I had a bad experience doing it some years back but the physios in the clinic I go to are doing classes now so although the classes are full at the moment, I'm going to see one of the physios this morning so she can give me a few exercises to try at home because the new class session won't start until after Cword. So I think I will go for a walk before that as it's so nice. No other particular plans for the day. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D
Rather dull and rainy today, but going to a lovely milonga this evening. So nice to dress up and dance to those latin toons
Aggers, glad your neighbours enjoyed your musical evening. I'm sure you put a lot of work into it.
Debih, I do hope you manage to have a good time away.
Jo! I would be angry too!
Have a good one each and every one of you xxx

I finally got through to the doctors and then had to wait for a call back from the lady who organises all appointments. She said that it was showing on the system that the surgeon had rejected the appointment and referred Tom onto another department, so a referral has been sent to them and Tom will get a letter in due course  She said that it also said that we'd been contacted, but commented that they're useless as communicating and very, very rarely let people know so the ticked box on the system means nothing. Apparently I was the second person today that had contacted her re a cancellation without notification for next week, she said it happens far too often

:( It really is appalling Jo, no respect for the patient whatsoever! :( :( People wlll be booking time off work, arranging childcare, rearranging their lives - and not even the courtesy of a call or letter to cancel :(

Hi all - we are home :( I was trying to put off the inevitable for aaaages, we hung back long after breakfast and had a final walk along the beach, and then we stopped off in Durhamm for a coffee and a mooch round....walked in the door about 2ish. We unpacked but that's all I've done - we've had a fantastic couple of days, as we always do when we go there 8-) Eaten well, walked loads, drank in the whole atmosphere, chatted to some lovely people in the pub last night.....soooo lovely 8-)

Osc it must be dress up Friday at school today - Lewis went in his Spiderman costume too :D :D Michael looks so cute :)

Hope everyone is well - Donna had a sad task this morning, she attended the funeral of a baby whose mum she had been in hospital with. Makes you really appreciate our babies' health - they (Donna, John, Lewis and Lily) have gone for a few days away themselves till Monday....we'll miss the children :(

Hugs for all xxxxxx

Welcome back Gal, it sounds terrific, so glad you enjoyed your break away 8-)

How very sad for Donna, and that poor poor woman :( That happened to me when Chris was born, a lady I'd been to antenatal classes with - and in fact had her baby in the same hospital on the same evening - lost him during the birth :( No funerals for stillbirth though in those days, but she called him Robin. I always think of her, and of Robin, on Chris's birthday :( xxxx
