Good morning Peeps. Lovely and warm here rather bizarrely. I am human again - I feel soooo much better today. I even went out last night and partook of a small glass of the red stuff.

We have Christmas songs belting out here, much to Mick and the girls annoyance. The dog and I are enjoying it though. I am baking and I have told them that it is the law that if you are making a Christmas cake you must play Christmas songs. So S has gone to work, L has gone to her friends and Mick has gone to the allotment!

This afternoon I will be doing roast turkey. I mean chicken. LOL. We are out at our friends hotel tomorrow eating free pork stew (she always does a big pork stew day the week after their hog roast) so I won't be doing a roast dinner tomorrow and thought I would do it today instead.

Then tonight will be movie night and we will watch the fireworks at 9pm (second to last ones of the season but last ones for us as we are away next week).
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Oh Weka, probably too late for today, but clingfilm is magic for burns.
Wrap it, not too tight, as soon as poss after burning (((x)))

We've made sausage rolls :D
Thanks Ally - I remembered 3 pork & chorizo sausages sitting in the freezer so got those out before going into town, and bought puff pastry.
The bit of pastry over we filled with cheese & onion :) They've just come out of the oven :D

It wasn't actually raining so I went to the market - and the bag stall wasn't there  It happens to me every time I want a specific stall :D
Still, the chocolate man had packs of 24 2-finger Kitkats for £1.50 so not all bad ;)
By the time I left town though I couldn't even get into the car park at Waitrose - people park there and walk into town, parking's so difficult on Saturdays. The plan was to get their meal deal for a tenner and therefore a free paper. Will have to hope they still have the Times left this afternoon

Mmm these sausage rolls are yum :D

The sausage rolls seem to be evaporating Saundra ;)
Plenty of those Kitkats, what a bargain eh?
Shame I can't share them with you :) x

Been to Waitrose now, much less busy. Huge pizza, bottle of red, mixed berry trifle, parmentier potaoes (for tomorrow) and the paper, all for a tenner :D
