good morning all - a very misty start to the day but it's cleared up beautifully and we've got lovely blue sky (for now).

Saundra - best of luck for the viewing today. I really hope you like it and can then move forwards with your plans. Big (((hug)))
Kaz, good luck at the appointment today
Debih, agree with Saundra - don't put anything back into the room once it's been taken out (unless you mean to keep it of course) ;) And don't do what I'm master of doing  move things from one place to another and just end up with the same rubbish but in a different place
Ally, enjoy the shopping. I used to love C&A and am sorry we don't have one here anymore
Loz, safe travels
Di, today is meant to be one of the last nice 'warm' autumn days. Make the most of it and go for a walk - forget about the h/w ;)
Ton, bummer re the bags  but hopefully the other bags are OK? enjoy the BBQ tonight - yum!

have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all, there is some very strange stuff falling from the sky, do you know what it might be? Someone called it "rain" but we have not had any of that here for a very long time. I am bringing the car for its NCT this morning, fingers crossed it passes. Then back home for the rest of the day, looking after Michael later on as Miss Osc has an appointment at the maternity hospital and she and SIL are going to eat out and go to the cinema afterwards, no point having your parents living with you if you can't make use of them!!

As my FB friends will know, my FB account has been hacked, and I can't see anywhere to report it - none of the options offered by FB seem to apply. Lucky I got to it early, as I was awake just after 6am and Liz Smith in Abu Dhabi had sent me a message so I was able to put up a warning status quickly.

Saundra, I hope you like the place and find it easy to make the decision. Have a good day everyone, no matter what you have planned :)

Good morning all, it's quite sunny here but much cooler. Yesterday morning I walked to my Mom's wearing jeans and a t shirt - when I walked Billy today I've had to wear jeans, a long sleeved t shirt and a zip up hoodie.

Not many plans today. I've got a few things to iron and I need to keep an eye open for the people next door as I've taken a parcel in for them, they don't always answer the door when you knock but she usually comes home with the little boy at around 3.30pm so I'll try and catch her then.

Shepherd's Pie for dinner tonight! We've got a busy weekend so dinner will be quick and easy ready in 15 minutes affairs over the next two days so I thought I'd do something nice today.

Saundra, I hope the visit goes well! xx

Hope your appointment goes well Kaz xx

Have a good day all :)

I eventually got going! I have now cleared all the junk from the little room (and boy was there some junk). I have been very ruthless - I like to do these things on my own as Mick tends to hang onto stuff. I had a little cry as I looked through the boxes of stuff that the girls brought with them from the foster home when they came to live with us (L's little tiny santa dress) and I have now taken all the junk to the tip and taken Millie for a run on the way back. Am now just about to get the hoover out up there to clean it and wipe it all down before I start putting stuff back in.

The SF are all coming down into the dining room so that L can get on with the job of cleaning and sorting them over the next week. Our neighbours little girl will be 3 on xmas day and I know that she is interested in buying some but I doubt she will buy them all so some will go on ebay. I don't want to put them on just yet though - I will wait until nearer xmas as they don't seem to be selling for all that much at the moment. I have no idea how much to tell our neighbour we want for them and I know that she will have no idea how much to offer!!! Some of them we bought off someone else for £10 per house so I might just tell her the same (they all still have their boxes).
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Aw Debih, no wonder you had a tear or two! :) :) xxx Re the SF stuff, why not look on eBay and see what the going rate is, then you would know what to ask her for them :)

Excuse any typos folks, I had eye dilating drops at my apt (the second lot stung like ****) and things are still a rad blurry 4 hours later   I will update on my thread on Health :) I still look stoned, all pipil and no iris
