Morning Ally, morning all :)

Ally when Becks and I go to Cheltenham she always drags me into Primark for a mooch, allegedly, but I always end up buying her something   We have one in Gloucester too, but the Cheltenham one is much better 8-) :) Hope you find what you're after :)

Very very cold here, but no snow yet.................B has an optician's appt for her contact lens check-up so I'll probably walk into town with her, and maybe treat her to a bite of lunch. We'll both be wrapped up like Mummies

Loz are you any better today? I remember how rotten I felt when I had BPV - it's a horrid thing xxxxxxx

Hoping for good news about Millie today {{{{{{x}}}}}}

Have a good day everyone, stay warm and safe xxxxxx

Kaz..I like Primark for shorts and t shirts.

I got a great James Dean t shirt for 8 euros last week.

When I go to the UK it's Primark in Birmingham and Nottingham that I visit..and I always end up in a grump as it's my idea of hell.

Women with buggies that they use as ammunition to get to the rails.

And just so, so, so, so busy.

Sorry..slightly off the GM thread.

Morning all. I have a rather sore head this morning.

Sainsburys first thing then off to work until about 12.30 then home to potter. I have to unload the dishwasher and wash everything by hand (back up to the bathroom again). It isn't draining properly and Mick thinks the pipe has frozen.

Got to ring the vets for an update at around 10.30 (won't be able to update on here until after 12pm cos of restrictions on computers at work).

It's really cold out there and I've just been watching the forecast for the weekend

A good old saying describes the weather here--It is brass monkey weather!!
Hoping a builder will come this morning to have a look at the bay window at the front. When it is raining and the wjnd blows in one direction we get a small leak on the inside. It is not the glass or the wooden frame and can't see any damage on the brick work outside.

Morning everyone

Grey and greyer here :( and cold too  well, relatively speaking  We've got a week of this, apparently, with rain and high winds too

Spot of cleaning this morning, then I think I'll huddle in front of the fire  with a book.

Hugs to Loz and everything crossed for Millie xx

Morning :)
Very very cold here too, thick frost - Minnie loves it.

Found a rather huge bargain yesterday, in a charity shop. I spotted a nice scarf, black, which on closer inspection still had its tags on, and was 100% merino wool, made in Italy. It was £1.99 so I grabbed it. When I looked it up (Tiger Sweden), the cheapest scarf is £39, and the only merino one I found is £79 :D

H-word to be done today, the shoulder's bad so I won' be sitting down much anyway.
Oh and the pc js now at a different repair place, will tell you what's been happening when I don't hurt so much.
Hugs and thoughts for Loz and Millie

Morning all :D

Thick frost here and Mr.J, who's just been out to buy the papers, tells me it's definitely brass monkey weather :o I'm popping over to visit mother shortly so will be sure to wrap up nice and warm. She's been on increased anti anxiety meds for the last two weeks so here's hoping they're working and she's in a happier mood.

Hope you all have a good day :D
