Hazy at the moment but the sun will burn it off soon. 8-) 8-)

A quick bike ride and a swim this morning.

Then picking mum and dad up to take them to the Iceland store at Mijas Costa. :D :D

TV and chilling tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning all :D

We're popping over to visit mother this morning. I've decided to change her wardrobe over today, doesn't make sense to take all her winter clothes down to Kent only to have to bring it all back up in a few weeks time. At least this way I can get all her summer stuff washed and packed away for a few months.

Still busy packing, made two trips to the tip yesterday afternoon, honestly it's amazing how much stuff I've hoarded this last 7 years :o Also did a few more phone calls, one to the hospice peeps, apparently they will collect good quality furniture items to sell in one of their shops. The girls wanted the mattresses but I've two metal single beds, a really nice (bit old fashioned for us) walnut corner display unit plus a winged armchair plus stool which mother hardly used. Oh and there's a couple of nice paintings she had, not really our style but might suit someone. I'd rather it all went to the charity shop than the tip.

E cleared the garden shed and what was left in the garage yesterday too which didn't do his hips any favours so after seeing mother and the usual run around paying her papers etc we're going to have an easier day and stop off somewhere for a nice late lunch.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jen, yes it's much nicer to give the stuff to the charity shop than scrap it 8-) When we cleared mum and dad's place we called in people to take it all away, they gave the decent stuff to charity (BHF amongst them) and scrapped the rest for us :) As to the stuff you've gathered in seven years, well we've only been here two and are doing nicely on that front already

Enjoy your easier day today :) xxx

Morning :)
Our weather's much the same as yours Ally, it won't get quite as hot of course but it's trying hard, it's going up to 24 or so later I think :D

It is hard work Jen, you need a few breaks x
Eldest is coming for lunch today, as he's off back to uni tomorrow, we might take him to Wetherspoons :)
Hope you all have a good day

Morning everyone

Lovely blue sky and a few fluffy white things floating around :D Thunderstorms forecast  all this week, really

Washing machine on  we don't take much, for a couple of days away, but we're always out and about and get grubby, and then of course, I just had to buy a couple of pairs of cut-offs in the Chinese shop - and they need washing ;)

So pootling for us, I have a huge lumb on my left leg, just about the ankle, which is quite sore to touch, so might hobble over to see Felipe later.

Enjoy your day everyone xx hope the sun shines for you :D

Morning all. Quite overcast here but I think its going to warm up later.

A day of meetings for me although I should be finished by 3pm and then I'm done until Monday.

Off out this evening to a silent movie night - four short Charlie Chaplin films accompanied on the piano by one of our neighbours.

Morning all - sitting at my desk boo hiss.... meant to be a lovely day today.

Jen, it is quite scary just how much one can accumulate in a fairly short time. I need to do a desperate clear out of the sheds; they are just full of junk. I've been meaning to do a car boot sale or something like that for ages as most of it is too good for the tip, but just don't get round to it.

good luck at the doctor later Ton - hopefully the lump will go away soon.

Enjoy the lunch Di :D

Enjoy the day with the folks Ally

have a lovely day everyone else xxxxx

Change of plan - the sun is out, I have to post a card, so we'll walk down to the village and have a pit-stop on the way back :D

The leg isn't sore this morning, so I'll wait fora while and see what happens.
