Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

It's going to be an emotional day for us. We're off to see Les Miserables at 1.30pm. I've already sorted copious tissues as I know I'm going to blub all through it. Not just because of the story, but it's going to bring back so many memories. Zoe our youngest daughter was only 10 when she played young Cosette at the Barbican, I still remember how nervous I was on opening night........would she cope, forget her lines, that sort of thing. We still listen to her on the original cast recording. Can't believe it was 27 years ago........can still feel the huge pride we got watching her. There were a few tears that day too.

Hope you all have a good day :D

She continued with her acting career, mostly straight acting, until she had the children kaz. The oldest is now 8.

The last big musical she was in was Singing in the Rain at the National Theatre - she had the female lead playing Kathy Seldon. The show won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival in 2001. We had many years of watching her on tv and in various productions, but Les Mis was particularly special as she was so young.

Good morning all, it's lovely and sunny but very cold here - there was a heavy frost overnight but it's all gone now. Mr. Osc has just gone out to play golf, and I have to make some attempt to do the ironing today.

Jen, how lovely! Was she still in it when it moved to the West End, as I saw it quite soon after that. I've always been a huge Colm Wilkinson fan, ever since he was in a local band here when I went to teenage cricket club hops. Is this Zoe singing??

My, Jenn, you have every reason to feel proud, having such a talented daughter.

They say there's no business like show business, and that's very true.

Hope you enjoy the show.
