Poor Shelby is distraught.

We have told them all along how things are going (I wasn't going to last week but then we decided that we should be honest with them). She was on such a high when she went to school this morning knowing that Millie had kept some food down and when I told her the updated news when she came back from school she was absolutely gutted.

Lucy deals with things very differently and hasn't really said an awful lot - apart from to talk about another dog if Millie doesn't come home. But that's her way of dealing with it all.

Mick has said that if we do have to have her put to sleep he would like to go over and take her out for a last walk in the park and give her a good run - Shelby has said that she would like to go along with him.

L and I don't feel up to it. I know that I can't see her unless she is coming home. Just the thought of Mick taking her for her last run has me in tears. :( :(

It's got me in tears too Deb so God knows how you're all feeling :(

Let's keep those vibes going and hope that it doesn't come to this, she still has a chance (((((xxx)))))

Me too Debih. I remember when Mowgli was ill composing my post in my head to tell you all if he didn't pull through.

You must feel so shell shocked, because there really is no reason for it, is there?

(((hug Debih)))) I just wish there was a magic wand one could wave to make this all better. What a horrible horrible time you're all going through.

I do 100% agree though with not putting Millie through more if this doesn't work; but hopefully it won't come to that.; hopefully the stent will do what it's meant to do and Millie will be back home where she belongs.

Thinking of you all today (they are operating today, aren't they?) and crossing fingers, toes and everything that can be for a very positive outcome.

((((hug))))
