Ooooh - Ed (Con's son) rang me earlier as I'd let him know I was going to be in London on Tuesday (he lives and works there) but wouldn't be able to catch up with him as I had commitments.

(I'll be seeing him next Saturday to watch the Birmingham game before he flies to Portugal so the guilt trip was lessened )

Sorry long winded - but one of Ed's friends helped plant the poppies.

It's a bit of a special day for me personally as it would've been my mum's birthday - she'd have been 96!

We will make sure to raise a glass or two to all VV'ers and special occasions . It'll be hard work but we'll do our best to make sure we remember everyone!
