Entrance price is £20 - it says £22 but that includes a £2 donation.

I did look at using Tesco clubcard vouchers, but it's a bit late to be sure they'd arrive, plus people online say it's quite a queue to change the voucher for a ticket...easier to just turn up and pay I reckon.

Prices at the cafe etc don't look too bad at all, especially for baguettes and things, so lunch there might be a good idea? - we're going to want quite a while there, aren't we?

Actually Mm I'm not entirely sure, was in a bit of a hurry and then my visitor arrived, intended going back to have a proper look at the website ;)

I just had a look at the Tower website, and although I have heard that the poppies are viewable from outside the Tower, from Tower Hill for example, I think we'd want to make a proper visit of it wouldn't we? As you said Di get a bit of lunch there and maybe look at a few of the other things they have there :)

I think buying the ticket on the day is probably the best idea, the online ticket is £20.90 so hardly worth it really :D

I am really looking forward to this :D :D :D

I also agree about being there for a while - my whole idea of going to London in the first place was to see the poppies and know I would've wanted to be there for a couple of hours at the very least.

I adore all round the Royal Palace and Tower of London..to be going with some VVers is just the icing on the cake. :D

The great thing about this is we have lots of time before we have to meet Bb and Ria - we can just please ourselves and have a lovely day. :D

Then things get even better when we head to Paddington to meet the others. :D

I am soooo looking forward to it. 8-) 8-)
