Debih that sounds like just the sort of day you need - the timing couldn't be better! I hope you have a lovely time and can forget about tomorrow, as much as is possible anyway xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning everyone

Ha a lie-in this morning, with coffee brought by himself

We had some rain last night too, so that saves me an hour later, watering everything ;) Blue sky now.

Not doing a lot today, i'll be poaching that chicken that I was supposed to do last week and that's about it.

Hope you dad has a great birthday Ally x and your mum is doing okay too.

That sounds lovely Debih, hope you hav a great time and hoping Millie is better today. And hugs to Loz too xx hope you feel better soon x

The nurse has just rung to say that Millie is fine.

The vet is going to try and get hold of some liquid dog food today (not sure where he is going to get it from or what it actually is - she did give it a name) and they might try her on it tonight. Gulp.

Dan has left them strict instructions as to the consistency it must be, the height it must be fed at and the temperature of it.

She has promised that the vet will ring us later and if he can't get us at home he will try both mobiles.

I've got to the point now where I just want them to try her on food - at least if she can't keep it down we will have a definitive answer. If she can keep it down I know that things could take a turn for the worse at a later date but at least it will be a move in the right direction. Its the not knowing that's the killer!

Afternoon all!
It's a sunny, frosty and cold one here today. John's off out on his bike so Billy's had a long walk and I've come back and made coffee. I drank that whilst ironing and watching The Big Bang Theory  Dinner's in the oven and John's due back any minute so once his bike is put away and he's showered, dinner will be ready to be served up.
Not sure what we're doing this afternoon, might take Tom to see the car model we think we decided on yesterday. Billy needs to go for another big walk but we'll probably wait until after dark, weather permitting, and take him over the Chase when all of the daytime visitors have gone home so that he can get a good run.

It's a miserable wet cold dreary day here today. We had to go out this morning to a mass for my friend's partner who died in Spain, but when we got home, we locked the door, I changed into my tracksuit and I ain't going nowhere for the rest of the day apart from my chair and the kitchen with occasional visits to the loo   He's watching footie, I've a few things to do online and then I plan to spend some time reading. Happy Birthday to your Dad, Ally, hope he enjoys his sweets and books, and that your Mum is feeling a whole lot better. Fingers crossed for Millie. Have a good day everyone :)
