Well done WM :)
Very glad the lady seems to be ok, and I do understand about her family not wanting publicity too x

The thought occurs that we would all be a lot better off if ASDA ran the NHS.

Well done Frank, that's a great result :D 8-)

I know the ambulance took a ridiculous amount of time, but you know the way the ambulance service has been messed around with lately in the last few years it is no wonder :? They are now controlled by large centres, out of area, who have no local knowledge of the geography or layout of the areas they cover, making what is already a very stressful job much harder. Add to that the ever growing amounts of red tape and hoops they have to jump through and it seems that the needs of the patients, and those of the paramedics themselves, come a poor last to the politics :? :(

It is a hard job they do, my BIL who is a paramedic (one of the senior first response ones who can administer drugs) has had to deal with some dreadful things over the years, some you couldn't even imagine, the last one involving a drowned young man in the harbour had him so stressed and traumatised that he couldn't work for several weeks... :(

They are doing the same with the coastguard service, the one at Weymouth , where we've been this weekend, is being closed  It was on the cards over two years ago but was put on hold until after the Olympics (Weymouth held all the sailing events) for political reasons, ie so the government would not look bad on the international stage :( :(
