hot weather bringing visitors

hundreds of jellyfish along the south coast here ,2 neighbours and also a friend been stung

hammerhead sharks spotted off the beach area near the city,apparently attracted by the jellyfish

Sharks and jellyfish don't scare me, but then I live at least 55 miles from the nearest sea.

Oooh jellyfish, yuck! Reminds me of the time B and I were paddling in the sea at Weston-super-Mud and were suddenly surrounded by a huuuuge swarm of them!! I still don't know how we got back on the shore without being stung, it was like jellyfish soup

There are loads of them off our shores again this summer apparently, caused by the warm weather

Did you see the news article a month or so back on BBC Breakfast about the enormous jellyfish which were in the sea off the Cornish coast? Their tentacles were over a metre long, a man had used an underwater camera to film them and you couldn't quite appreciate the size until his pet dog came into shot, swimming above it

You should see the size of Yorkshire slugs... massive. They eat trees!
