Saw the effects of flooding in Cockermouth several years ago a few months after the floods. Not very nice.
Hope you soon get sort3ed and not too much damage.
Have you taken any photos which will help if you have to claim on insurance?

Oh Osc, how awful :( I do hope that the agent and owner will get to work on a solution very quickly.
Our friends had a burst pipe a couple of years ago which flooded their ground floor, the insurance company got to work with them very quickly but getting the house dried up and any repairs done was a lengthy and a noisy process :?
