Good afternoon all!

Happy Birthday to B!

It's lovely here so far today, sunny and breezy and a really nice temperature

Billy's had a lovely long walk, I've cut the lawns and done a pile of ironing. Joe's just got up and Tom's had his dentist appointment this morning and was going straight to M's house afterwards. We haven't seen her all weekend as she got a new parrot on Saturday, her Mom has one and they also foster rescue ones but this one is just for her so she was very excited to get him. Tom thinks he may be staying there tonight which will give John's taxi a break tonight (might have to do a separate thread about that actually).

Thanks for all of B's birthday wishes, I have passed them on

We've had a nice afternoon, went to watch How to Train your Dragon 2 in the new cinema in the Quays, then met Mick at TGI Fridays for a meal. Then. hilariously, they bought her out a slice of cake with a candle on it and made her blow it out, while they all sang a little song at her. Anyone who watched the Catherine Tate Show will know why Mick and I were nearly wetting ourselves :lol:

We went to tthe Hungerford Mill, the day we got married, near Charfield Kaz.

We hadn't booked, but when we told them it was our wedding day, out came a cake

They apologised for it being "just a cake" as they would normally have decorated it specially

We went back for years, on our anniversary and they always brought a cake out for us
