I'm often drawn to glittery nail polishes. I'm wearing some at the moment in fact.
Reason being, when I was little my nails were always bitten to the quick (I used to love the taste of Stop N Grow so not even that worked) and I craved glittery nails like my teenage cousins had, this was in the 70s, and my Mom told me that if I grew my nails she'd buy me some. By the time I'd grown out of the habit glittery nails had gone out of fashion and we couldn't get the polish anywhere locally so I never had any

Oh Jo..this has made me burst out laughing.

In my teens my friends and I couldn't get a hold of glittery nail polish for a party we were going to so we made our own.

Clear nail varnish then sprinkled silver glitter on the top...our nails were about 1" thick!

 @ you two!

Well I popped into Wilkos and got a new polish for £1.60, a nice deep rose colour, rather pinker than the L'Oreal one :) I also got a green eyeliner pencil for £1.80 I think it was and as it was on 3 for 2 I got a lip gloss as well  :D 8-)

I had lovely Mary Quant nail varnishes as a teenager...a bright turquiose blue and a bottle green.
The blue matched my hotpants and the green matched my knee length platform boots :D

Oh yes, that top - they did have it, only in cream - the pinks were all size 18 - but I wasn't at all sure of it for me, it's longer than I thought.
Found another one though :D

Sorry Kaz I forgot to come back here and find the top for you - this one:
http://direct.asda.com/george/womens/to ... lt,pd.html

Not cotton for once, but it's an evening thing really, quite loose, very thin and see-though-ish.
I'd wear a cotton vest top under it, so the colour of that would vary how it looks, and with white crops/jeggings for now, or black crops/trousers in winter :)
