Talking of The News

Postby Diflower » 31 Jul 2014, 22:46

I have Breakfast on every day.
Admittedly not always paying full attention, but if it's on from 6am you see the same stories repeated a good few times.
This may well have been mentioned, but if so, obviously not a lot, as I knew nothing about it.
It's heartbreaking, but very beautiful

I am by no means an arty-farty sort of person, but that is a stunning and very beautiful and moving way of commemorating the fallen of WWI.

Thanks for sharing that Di.

I hadn't seen that before, Di, and find it very moving. It made my eyes wet.

What is wrong with the human race that we have to have terrible warfare over and over again?

That is very moving, and beautiful - and personal for me as my great granddad H J Richardson is represented by one of those poppies..........

Thanks for sharing Di, like you we watch Breakfast every morning, and I hadn't seen this!
