Soon after posting friend phoned - her son is there, and they're coming down. And no hw done all weekend

Bb's hoovered, I've dusted/polished a bit, done the cloakroom - that should do!
It's a lovely surprise, and she's lovely - but almost never gives any warning whatsoever - I'm actually quite lucky she phoned before they left

thanks for sending over the sunshine everyone - it seems to have worked.. Blue skies and long may they last although not sure the grass will dry off enough to mow it, but that's OK. But in the meantime I have been busy and vacuumed and given the bedroom a good clean - it was well overdue. It's a very small bedroom and the bed is pushed into a corner so not the easiest to clean under.

Now for the mess corner in the kitchen. I think I'm just going to have to be ruthless and throw things away

Good afternoon all! It's sunny here and a tad warmer than yesterday although, thankfully, a few degrees cooler than last week!

Haven't really got any plans for today apart from a trip to Ikea tonight to get a new mattress.
