What a lovely day!

We all had such a lovely, relaxed time

Several hours talking non-stop (no surprise), eating yummy food, a little drinking - with gallons of water! - and properly catching up with old friends
We dropped the Oscs back at the airport, their flight was 6.25 and a plane did go over our house about 6.30 so it could have been them

Oh and I think everyone had seconds of drizzle cake except me

The fabric is in a better home now, even if you only take it out and look at it once in a while

It was indeed a really gorgeous day and I can't thank everyone enough who made it all happen - Di and Buster for collecting us at the airport and bringing us back, Loz and Dancing Dave for coming to meet up with us and Dorisday for having us all over to hers on such a lovely occasion. Autocorrect on my phone meant we were almost called "hotties" on FB, but we were anyway, it was almost hotter than the weather on our holiday!! I love that all these years after Femail, we just carried on chatting as we always did. It was relaxed and happy as we all caught up, and so nice to have the menfolk there too. Some days stay in your memory and this will be one of those.
