I hated driving but had to get home

We left Sittingbourne and the rain had just started but in no time it got heavier and heavier :o
Then came the thunder and lightning.
We had only 7 miles to drive to get home to Faversham but had to stop half way as it was too deep.
When we got home there had`nt been any rain   unbelievable.

You will always remember that journey.

How deep was the water in the photo?
Did you have to rive through it?

Hope the water didn't get into your car.
We are basking in sunshine again
As Rodo has said, the storms are very local. It can be raining where we live yet is is dry ten miles north near Rodo.

Wow Lissie you were so lucky to get home and not stuck. No rain in Canterbury either.
