John's off up there tomorrow to watch. He's watching it on TV now. I can see me doing a lot of reading over the next few weeks.

Yorkshire looked lovely, we watched a little bit earlier on and I was telling Mr. Osc about you Saundra, and how you would be glued to your television for the next few weeks! We are currently watching golf from France, where it is pouring rain :o

It passes within about 2 miles of us tomorrow at about 1.30. The village has gone mad with the preparations (the only part of Lancs it touches for all of half a mile). I do hope they will not be disappointed at the turnout.

I can't take Le Tour seriously after watching that Halfords TV advert where those little girls on bikes scream at the adult racers, and they all collide and fall over; then you see the precocious little ringleader looking smug and licking an ice-cream .... makes me laugh every time!

On the other hand, if I see that daft Yorkshire Tea advert once more, it'll be me doing the screaming ...
