It was agreed this morning we'd stay in tonight.

Mid afternoon showed all signs of staying in tonight.

10 minutes ago...

Me: Shall we walk to Hairy Mary's for a few beers and then get a Mr Pepe takeaway.

Don: Yes. What about the cottage pie?

Me: Lunch tomorrow?

Don: C'mon then.

Our first fire of the summer and not too far away either

Ton, fires are scary. We were in the S of France, at La Lavandou, when one broke out near Collobrières. It stretched all the way to Cogolin and down towards Bormes. It was moving so fast the Gendarmes came warning us to be ready to evacuate the campsite.

We drove through the following year and it was just a wasteland.

Very very scary - that's when you know it's not so clever being in one of those lovely places on the hills

We've just been to get a Chinese - not from a restaurant, they're not nice here.
First tried W/rose who had almost no choice, so then to M&S which was much better, and we got a pack of mini ribs for Bb to have as a starter reduced to 90p
Just what I fancied, felt I deserved a small treat - looking forward to it

When we went out there were really black clouds, but we got back in the dry.
Then all of a sudden the heavens opened, you should have see it
Had to turn to Tv up to see Brasil v Chile

Then the most beautiful rainbow
And then, Robert Plant at Glastonbury

Oh and the Chinese was lovely (short on veg, but lovely)

Aaaargh!!! Got no internet...Sky know it dropped at 8.45 this morning but their diagnostics aren't coming up with a reason why, everything appears fine, so got to get an engineer out tomorrow...my phone Internet here is woeful, no 3G and it's taken me 45 mins to get to the point of being able to post this.
