Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 28 Jun 2014, 04:49

Good morning. :D

Another scorchio. 8-) 8-)

A run nice and early and back for a swim. :D

I shall then settle on the sofa for my Mr Martin lust fest (which shows no sign of fading  ) followed by last night's Masterchef. :D :D

The plan is for chilling today - whether that actually happens is another story.

Have a smashing day. :D

Lucky lass! Lovely weather, lovely husband, lovely life for a lovely lass! Rained in the night and was torrential yesterday,
Good for the beans and herb garden. :)

Morning :)

Some rain in the night, none so far this morning but big thunderstorms forecast
Not good news for the local hospice just down the road, it's their annual garden party thing this afternoon which usually raises a huge amount. I shall go if at all possible, but really no point if it's hammering down :?

Apart from that, Bb will be working, for how long depends on how long it takes ;)
I'm feeling much more awake and with-it today so will wait on how the weather shapes up before deciding what to do. If it's ok by the time he leaves he could drop me in town for the market, but I don't fancy getting caught in a huge downpour :)
Hope you all enjoy your Saturday
Di

Oh I do hope the rain holds off Di - it's always a shame when these events are threatened by bad weather. :?

I've come back from my run starving - have asked Don to nip to Mercadona to buy some of their lovely spicy sausages which I'll cook and put in nice hot baguettes. :D :D

It is a shame Ally.
The gardens and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and they always have such a lot there - I always feel for people organising events, they have to just hope for the best. Months of work and planning and it can all come to nothing :?

Hmm I haven't run anywhere but am getting a serious bacon/sausage craving - p'raps I'll run to Tesco :D
Fresh bread's not far off ready ;)

Please stop all this bacon and sausage talk! I'm having porridge

Morning all :D Looks a bit mixed here this morning, but we are off to the New Forest for our Tango weekend, so it doesn't really matter to us. Such a shame for the Hospice though Di. They will have been planning it for ages. Fingers cross the weather bucks up.

Wishing everyone a good day whatever the weather xxx

Pootling for us, and footie later :D

Hope the rain does stay away Di and you and the hospice can have a good afternoon.

Enjoy the day, the whatever the weather xx

Good morning all! It's a dull, misty one here at the moment but at least it's dry so far. I'm hoping that John will put up the replacement outside light today. The old one stopped working sometime last year, he bought a new one about 3 months ago and it's been sitting there in the garage in it's box every since. We also need to take some bags of clothes and a TV stand into the charity shop. There will be some dog walks too, a visit to my parents and I'll possibly go to the gym tonight.

Not sure what Tom's plans are, we went to pick him up from M's house last night and he came out with a tray of homemade cookies, a thank you for us from her for letting her stay on Thursday night :) No doubt Joe will have Evan from across the road in to play X Box. I want to have a tat around in his room so I'll have to get in early.

Have a good day all, I hope the rain doesn't affect the hospice event Di xx

Morning all :D

It's Image here, hope it stays away for the hospice do Di, as you say always pot luck with these events. Such a shame after all the planning.

No plans for us today, will need to pop out for the papers later this morning and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :) I would have posted on this thread sooner, but I lost the site as all BT broadband was off air between London and Amsterdam from about 9.20 and five minutes ago  I know cos Mick was called out to help fix it :?

Now he's finally showered and dressed and about to take the woofies out

We are going out for a quick lunch but I doubt we'll mooch much as it's raining :( Then tonight as M's brother and his wife are in town we are all out for a family meal this evening 8-) :) Far too much eating and drinking out this week for my poor groaning disappearing waistline but what the heck!

Have a good day everyone :)
