You've only been there for five minutes and already you have more friends than I have. I'm another Facebookphobic. I only go there to keep tabs on No.2 son and can't make head nor tail of it. I'll send a friend request too and we can learn together.

Holy-freeholy.

I have just been to my e-mail and found loads of 'friends'..... you are all so kind.

So.... if I say "Hi" to one of you does it get to everyone, or only to the one? :?:

I am off to bed now, but I will be on Faceache in the morning...... and I will accept you all as friends.

Wm it depends on your settings, but generally if you mention/talk to someone common to more than one, then all of those concerned will get the notification and see what you've said.
The only completely private option is a message.

My own settings are such that only friends can see what I post.
Some people do tend to post a lot of 'look at this cute photo'- type stuff, but you can hide those straight away if you want by hovering to the top right of the post, there's a downward arrow and that gives you options per post ;)

I have friends only, I have them from here and overseas, good way to keep in touch, including grandchildren in the USA. one gets some rubbish now and again but as Di has said you can get rid of it. I am still learning in some respects, but you will master it in minutes Frank.
