Another meet later this year?

Kate, Kaz and I were talking about this yesterday and trying to figure out if we did have a September (or maybe even October) meet, where best to have it that suits most people. I had a look at the map yesterday and Brum really seems to be the most central location for most people to get to; but we're always open to suggestions. Given I'm only 30 minutes from London which means connections to nearly everywhere I'm not fussy. Also it probably would be a weekend meet if that's easier for some?

So if anyone does want to try and meet up later in the year how about giving some suggestions regarding location and date :)

Shouldn't you be working? ;) :P

If there was an Autumn meet, oh I hope so, it would need to be after the big school hols and before the half term. Just my twopenn'orth.

A week in Portugal in October would suit me :D
Malaga would probably be an option too :D
The place we stayed had loads of rooms ;) :D

Apart from that - whether Brum or London is probably a no-no, here to London is about £90, Bb has to go quite often
Although there are sometimes offers, so it's not quite outside the realms of possibilities.
Can't think of anywhere else that would be easyish for everyone though, since Southampton's no doubt too far for those oop North :?

Well I am up for a meet later this year, obviously Brum is very easy for me but if a venue further afield suits others better then that's fine for me too :D

I think Brum is excellent, but then I am being a bit selfish as Yasmin my youngest (whose wedding anniversary is today bless them) meets me half way. It's quite a journey for some I know like WM and others Ali and those who live a distance. I have had the idea to ask management of the hotel whether we can all have a discount as regular visitors ;) I was thinking of you all at the last meet.

Kate I doubt Premier Inn would do that, I think its a bit counter-productive to ask really, as they are pretty cheap already if we are clever and watch the website for the deals :? I paid £29 for my night which was fabulous vaue!! If we tip them off about groups the website will raise the prices I reckon! :? That is how it works with these chains ;)

I asked last year and they said No, Nada. I was told that the cheapest way was via the Internet. There will come a time when it all quietens down and goes back to normal. I also get offers via e-mail newsletters so will keep an eye on them and keep peeps informed.

Somewhere I could drive to and stay overnight? I now have my own drink/drive motorway limit which is O. :)

My neighbour stops at a premier in at least twice a week and she isn't classed as a regular visitor!
