Morning all :D

We're popping over to visit mother this morning. It's quite nice outside at the moment so if it stays that way we'll take her out for coffee and ice cream. Chris her keyworker has been on holiday for the last couple of weeks but she's back now much to my relief. She's always the best person to handle hospital appointments and it's a relief to know she'll be available to take mother if needed next week.

Yesterday afternoon was spent sending e-mails to all the estate agents showing bungalows on rightmove we'd like to view next week. Already had a couple of replies so just need to firm up dates/times. We're keeping an open mind as the ones we'll look at cover quite a wide range from spic and span to doer uppers. Also not all of them show a floor plan which is a bit aggravating, I do wish all agents did, so it's going to be a case of wait and see. Tbh I don't really think you can judge until you walk through the door. Anyway, fingers crossed we find something we really like, it would certainly save a lot of faffing.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

A gorgeous morning here :D

Glad PP got off safely and sorry, but won'tbe able to do a September meet either

Day two of the wedding anniversary continues :D Not sure what we'll be doing during the day - after last nights dinner and that brandy  - but a stroll down to Nizette's later, for the footie :D have already told her to keep a table for us, right in front of the tele

Well done B - exams are bad enough, but to be told to go to a different campus

Hope you all have a good day and the sun continues to shine xx

Oh and Jen, you can't beat actually seeing the place, can you? And I agree about floor plans ;)

Good morning friends.

It's a lovely morning here, and I'm just back from a long dog-walk through the park
and the adjoining nature reserve. (The first time for months).

I might do a bit of gardening later on - then, again, I might not!. A mug of hot
chocolate and a little nap might be on the cards.

Hope you all have a nice day.

Afternoon all, dull and very much cooler here too. We've collected Michael from playschool, his last day :( as tomorrow is sports and party day - not sure where the time went since September, and it has made such a difference to him. He is playing with Mr. Osc at the moment, then we will have lunch and see what we will do for the rest of the day. Slight hitch with house sale, nothing major and not a game changer, but other solicitor has an issue with the boundary - the surveyor who came out last week didn't see any difficulty with something that has become established over a 100 year period, but apparently this solicitor is very picky. There is talk now of a specialist mapping person coming out to have a look, we shall see. Miss Osc has impressed on him that we (and she) would like to see contracts being exchanged before we all go on holiday the week after next, so hopefully he has taken that timeline on board. We feel in a bit of a limbo at the moment but I'm sure it will be fine, these things always happen.

We had a gorgeous lunch out yesterday, hadn't been in the particular restaurant for a very long time but it was as good as ever, and even better because it was on a 2 for 1 deal! Back to normal rations today  Have a good day everyone :)

Good news about B's exam result Kaz. I know you thought when we were talking that she was sure she'd failed. :)

She was Paddy, from the very low mark she got, but apparently not after all which is a huge relief :) 8-) I also got back nearly all of my student accommodation deposit from Unite - B was notified today - and a little of the TV licence I got her, so I am a happy bunny    8-)

Thanks Ton :) Yes I know - it was a real fiasco for her and the other girl she went with :?

Di I'm always available  :?

Jen I agree re floor plans, I don't understand why some agents still don't provide them  Good luck house hunting, very exciting :)
