Oooh smashing Jenni - how exciting. :D :D

Hopefully the market is on the up - Don's nephew Ed put his 2 bedroomed flat in Clapham up for sale 3 weeks ago and had people falling over themselves to buy it.

But then he's been put through the wringer last week as he was the one fighting to buy somewhere before they were snapped up.

He bought a new house in Twickenham on Monday so we're hoping that'll all go through smoothly. :)

That's great news Jen, I hope it all goes through nice and smoothly :D

Ally that's far from unusual in London which has its own very fast moving and buoyant market, completely different really to the rest of the country ;) There selling is easy and buying is the nightmare!! Hope his Twickers house goes through for him 8-) :) xxxx

Delighted for you Jen, we can all support each other through the moves (we will have two, one to Miss Osc's house and then another to our new home a few months after that).

Heard something being pushed through the letter box 40mins or so ago and it's a short note from the couple who've offered........

Hi
Hope you don't mind us dropping this off, but just wanted to say we are so pleased that we have managed to come to an agreement, we are very excited and relieved!! We're off to have a few celebratory drinks!!
Tom and Andy

They added they'll of course do everything properly through the solicitor and agent, but have given us a mobile number in case we ever need to contact them.

They've actually been negotiating with us via the agent over the last couple of days. We turned down their first two offers and have now settled for just shy of the asking price. Looking positive.....
