Good morning Monday

Postby debih » 16 Jun 2014, 07:21

Morning all. Lovely morning here.

Work for me this morning and then off for a ride I think. We got wet when we went yesterday :(

And at 7pm this evening I have the governors meeting where I officially stand down as chair. So by 7.30 I will be chair no more. Hurrah!!!

It does look as though it will be a long meeting though as, although she hasn't done it yet, the head did say that she will be giving me her letter of resignation before the meeting. She was off sick last week so I am expecting to receive it when I arrive for the meeting this evening. Only three of the governors (myself, the incoming chair and the finance chair) know that she is thinking of resigning so it will come as rather a shock to the others I think.

Morning Debih, I hope the meeting goes well and I am pleased for you that it will finally all be over - so much hassle you can well do without now the girls have moved on! 8-) xxx

Morning everyone - these Mondays seem to come round very quickly  Housey stuff to do today, and hopefully a walk at some point - it's dry here but a bit changeable looking, so we will see how it goes....Oh the local forecast is on and it should be dry with some sun, so better get the washer on ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Debih, morning everyone

Our bonkers weather continues     After yesterdays heat, we have white cloud and 12C less   And it is a local holiday too :(

Good luck with it Debih, hope all goes smoothly for you.

We have the proposd new owner coming round later, with a builder, as there are some works he wants to do here. He also thinks he'll be signing the contract today, but will have to tell him it's a holiday - although he was told that on Saturday too, don't think he realised what it meant.

So keeping everything crossed for today and tomorrow.

Apart from making sure we watch the footie later, not sure what we're doing.

Hope you all have a good day and the sun shines for you xx

Good morning all.

The sun is shining here but it's supermarket shopping for us this morning.

Hope you all have a pleasant day.

Morning all :D

Looks nice and bright here today.

Good luck with the house Ton, hope it all goes through hassle free x

We've had a bit of a lie in, our excuse, we're in recovery mode from all the excitement of the weekend

Not a lot planned, expecting a client at 11.30 and another this afternoon just before 5pm. Do need to do a quick blitz round the house too, clean the bathrooms and whiz round with the hoover. In fairness although it's pretty hectic while they're all here, lots of toys all over the place, it doesn't take me long to have the house looking tidy again. It's all the extra towels and bedding used that needs washing today.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all
Productive day here. Hubby is in between jobs, so I've set him to work. He's mowed the lawns, dropped paperwork off at the new company via the bus, and took Oliver with him, who thought it was the best thing ever! Meanwhile I've done the school run, painted my upstairs bp bathroom vanity cupboard doors, hopefully the final coat on this side, and supervised the removal of the downstairs toilet, which hasn't quite gone to plan, but will hopefully be sorted on Wednesday when our favourite builder comes. Hubby has also started removing the vino floor ready for the new flooring to be laid.

And I've taken missey to the doctor for a follow up. Every now and then she gets these intense tummy pains that has her doubled up unable to move for 2-3 hours. No one can tell me what it is. Today's doctor is referring her on to a gastro paediatrician at starship (children's hospital here).

I'm doing well, in the last 7 days, missey got a referral for tummy pain, Oliver got one for eye sight as he has an astigmatism and the optician wants the eye specialist to see him for some reason, and the day of the corn incident in had had him at the doctor earlier for a nasty chesty sounding cough that is not shifting, only to be told the doctor thinks he heard a heart murmur to is referring him to the cardiactric paediatrician at starship. At least the eye hosp is at a different hosp, else I will be sick of that place soon. I'm not worried. I'm expecting 2 counts of "nothing to see here" and 1 pair of glasses.
Everything happens for a reason
