You are lucky living where you do Di We have some lovely countryside round us, but I do love a river
Mum coming down to stay for a week or so, so need to get a move on to get things nice.
I may not be very regular (eat more prunes!) while mum is here, but I'll be in and out.

Good morning, all.

It's lovely here this morning, and promises to be a hot day. Mrs A isn't too happy about that,
as heat makes the pain in her foot (caused by peripheral nerve damage) much worse. I had a
brain wave the other day, and got out our electric fan and positioned it so that it gently played
cold air directly on her poorly foot, and we were surprised that it actually cured the pain - and
with no side-effects!!! Let's hope it continues to work.

Dippy - 38 is hot; wow . I haven't been to Turkey for a few years now but will be heading back for a week next year (going to Dalyan) Can't wait - I just so love it there

Morning all

Another bright and sunny day here, like you kaz I could very easily get used to this

Had a nice visit with mother yesterday, managed to take her out for coffee and bought her a Magnum which is a big favourite, altogether very successful.

No plans for today, we're well stocked up with fresh food ready for tomorrows invasion. E would like a new tablet so I'll do a bit of research online and then we might pop out later to take a look at some.
