Woke up to bright sunshine and thought those forecasters have got it wrong again.................err no it's absolutely persisting down now Of course had we got up earlier we'd have managed to get round for the papers before it started, but no think we'll be needing the wellies now

No other plans, just the usual laundry, bedding, towels etc.

Morning all. The storm seems to have come and gone here. It's very misty out though.

Taking S to work shortly and later will be going riding, weather permitting.

59th birthday party tonight.

I need to weed my lavender hedges because the grass is getting longer than the hedge now So I will spending the day on my knees if the sun shines, or at my sewing machine if it rains

Evening all
I've painted my bathroom cabinet doors today. Just got one more coat to do hopefully tomorrow.
Weeded 3 garden beds in the afternoon, and did a bit if pruning and cleaned out the chicken coop. So quite a productive day. Hubby took Sasha and Oliver up to the school to practise their bike riding. Oliver is still on a balance bike and races along but is learning to sit on the seat now that his legs can reach the ground, but Sasha now has a grown up bike with pedals. We decided not to put the training wheels on. She has had it 2 weeks and almost has the hang of it.

Tomorrow we have friends who are expecting coming around. I wonder how much baby stuff I can offload I mean give them.

Afternoon all, it was fairly dreary early on but has cleared now - not warm and not cold, it's just odd, and rather windy. Had a great time at the party last night but paying for it today as I am very tired. Might go for a walk in a while, just to make sure I get a bit of exercise. Don't know if there is anything decent on the telly tonight, haven't looked yet, but I'm sure we'll find something. Enjoy the rest of the day everyone

It's quite pleasant here now, but there are a few clouds lurking about.

We had a lovely holiday last week, apart from one rainy day, when indoor pursuits took place,
but it's good to be back to home, sweet home.
