Morning everyone. It's quite nice here, dry and warm but no sun. I have my 50+ exercise class and then my gym buddy and I are going to weigh in at Slimming World. Not very hopeful as my own scales tell me I have either gained a bit or stayed the same. Must do better and resist all blandishments from the family to join them for pizza and wine.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here  don't suppose you fancy a swap Boring Brenda and Sunshine Suzy...........hmmm thought not

Hope B finds a job soon kaz. Definitely good to have your eye looked at xxx

We were planning to go into town, took one look at the weather and rolled over again. Just been round to get the papers so having a very late brekkie.

Visiting my aunt and uncle this afternoon, it's his birthday, there's three years between him and mother so think he must be 85 this year. My cousin is staying with them for a few days so expect we'll have a good natter.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's a wet one here!

I've been to the gym and then ran into town to get more fruit and some eggs as everyone fancied omelettes for supper last night so I had none left to use in a cake today. Just hoping that the rain will at least slow down a little so that I can take Billy for a run.

Really hope that something comes up for B, Kaz. Has she tried the local museums and art gallery to see if they need Summer staff? I know that Tom has handed his CV in just about everywhere and had no responses whatsoever. He's got his weekend paper round but that's just £26 a month....it's better than nothing though I suppose :? There doesn't seem to be the turnover of part time staff that there used to be.

Glad that your getting your eye checked out xx

Have a good day all xx

Afternoon all, not such a nice day here, no rain but dull and not warm enough :( We brought lots of stuff to Oxfam today, collected cleaning and did the supermarket shop, it's so good being able to drive again and Mr. Osc was with me to do all the carrying. I'd love to be able to do more but know that I can't risk lifting etc. but I am finding the short energy span to be frustrating. Nothing particular planned for the rest of the day although I might pack away some more winter things. Miss Osc heard from the buyer's solicitor yesterday, their loan offer came through last week and he is working on the contracts, every little bit of progress is welcome.

Oh Osc that sounds like positive news on the moving front 8-) :)

Jo I know, it is disheartening for them isn't it?

Well in the end as it is real bouncing off the pavements rain here today, B decided to take the walk along Eastern Ave tomorrow - it is a good couple of miles there and back along that road so it seemed sensible to do it in dryer weather. Instead she came to town with me (on the bus) to help carry the shopping home, and as it turned out there were quite a few vacancies in shop windows that weren't there last week, so she has dropped in several more CVs and has a few more online to apply for 8-)

Fingers firmly crossed XX
