Lol DT.

Took bloody ages and I found it very stressful though I think that was the time pressure of the class.

Definitely going to have another go - something slightly smaller next time. Thought I might make the girls an iPad bag for the iPads they are getting for Xmas.

:D :D :D :D

I put a picture of it on facebook and one of my friends tells me that she could have shown me how to make it and helped me out. She has now offered to help me make a couple of ipad bags and - get this - says if I design my own pattern she can screen print it. I could get the girls to make their own design for their bags!!!

I am now very excited and am off to look at sewing machines.

D'ya think Mick will notice if a new machine just appears?

Not if you leave "sewing " out of the description, just tell him it's a machine. He'll be back to his cuppa and the back pages with barely a glance. ;) :P :P

Don't be silly of course he won't :D
Get rid of the old machine, put the new one in its place and say how well it's scrubbed up ;)

My mum used to dig 3 holes in the garden when she bought a new plant/shrub, then when dad got home he'd think she'd taken two out :D
