I got a present!

Postby Diflower » 03 Jun 2014, 14:49

It's all supposed to be confidential so no details but today Bb's working locally and came home with a lovely present - a great big bag of dried local wild mushrooms :D
They're collected by this woman http://gorsemeadow.co.uk/about-mrs-tee/ :D
And the house next door gave him a box of freshly-laid eggs :D

He spent so long talking/being talked at that he only got half his work done and didn't get home for lunch till 2.30 :D
He's gone back out now to try and do the rest ;)

Did you look at her Ally, she's barking
She's been on that B&B thing, and Come dine with me I think :)

Just changed tonight's dinner, it was chicken breasts anyway, now they're going to have a wild & fresh mushroom sauce ;)

How lovely :D :D

Grumpy's parents used to own a mushroom place - we'd have masses of them :D

Not bad freebies Di.

The place of the Mad Lady is the sort of quirky place I could spend few days at. 8-) 8-) 8-)

And the breakfast would have to be fried eggs (from next door) and various grilled mushrooms. :D :D :D

On that B&B thing (Bb and I had a look, if you're interested it's on youtube), she served up a lovely-looking brekkie but with venison sausages - far too rich for breakfast time :)

I love mushrooms and would live to be confident enough to pick my own.

The peak park rangers do a free mushroom hunt in October - I'm going to book myself on it.
