Good (moaning) morning Sunday

Postby debih » 06 Jan 2013, 08:19

Morning all. I'm up to sort out the dog (with the two medicines that she now has to take the first and last feeding regime takes almost two hours - that'll be fun next week when I'm back at work. The two feeds inbetween those feeds take about an hour each. Much of it is waiting - give her the first medicine, wait, give her the second medicine, wait and then give her the three bowls of food 10 minutes after each other and wait to see if she keeps it down) and then I'm back to bed for a while.

I feel terrible - the stress is really getting to me now and I'm not sleeping or eating properly - I have lost almost a stone in 3 weeks. Mick is useless - he "doesn't like to feed her as it makes him feel bad if she is sick".

It isn't helping that I'm stressing about the kitchen arriving at the beginning of February and the room not actually being ready for it so it having to be stacked up in the dining room for ages. I am going to sand the door and window frame down next week - Mick is away so I may as well do it in the evenings - but the big job is the stupid fireplace that needs the top layer of stone taking off. Mick says he is doing it but hasn't actually started it yet.

Well, after that whingy start to the day I'm off to give Millie medicine number 2 so that I can wait for half and hour to feed her. Another hour and I should be back in my bed.

Morning everyone

Aw Debih, have a hug xxxxd Men are like that, aren't they? I can't clear up the bits of mouse, it will make me sick, I can't clear up the mess the cat has left, I'll be sick....................oh, and being married to a builder, I do know that feeling, I'll get round to it and it will only take me an hour, a day  My kitchen was in the kitchen (which he did actually build, after 13 years  ) for a month. he actually finished it 2 in the morning of Christmas morning

Anyway, gert foggy here - can see across the road and that's about it :( We're off to the car boot later and my friend should be bringing the oven back she borrowed "just" for Christmas Day

And I'm doing poached chicken for dinner, not done it before, so may be an interesting meal

Hope Millie is getting a bit better though Debih and also Ally's mum xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather and whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. Still feeling a bit dizzy, but better than yesterday. Might get it checked out though if I'm not better tomorrow.
Sorry you are so stressed out debih, what a rough time you are having with one thing and another.
Ally, hope you hear some good news about your mum today.
Both sons home for dinner later and one of the girlfriends, so that will be nice.
Have a good day everyone x

morning all, meat in the (clean) oven and smells delish....veg done, last of the summer fruit in a crumble with an oatie topping and all set for lunch, just waiting for folk to turn up.
You sound as if you are having a rotten time with poorly dog, my late husband was the same about cleaning up after daughter or pets...remember one occasion years ago when he got up before me and "found" something nasty left by the current hound from hell...he covered it up with kitchen roll and left it for me!! "Yeark, I couldn't clean that up" was his excuse!!!

Morning all :D

((((((debih)))))) you are having a rotten time, hope Millie is better soon.

Hope you get some good news about your mum today ((((((Ally)))))

Good idea to see the GP if the dizzyness continues loz xxx

We've had an extra long lie in, getting the tree down and sorting the decs finished us off yesterday lol No plans for today really, about to have a very late brekkie/early lunch shortly and will do a proper roast dinner (we've been living out of the freezer all week because of the beastly cold) later but that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, it's damp and dreary here today. Finally managed to whittle down our choices for the professional photos after almost tying Mr. Osc to the chair to help me  so am just about to email that to the photographer. Had lots to put on our ballroom forum this morning too as many dancers had travelled from Ireland to compete in the Champions of Tomorrow in Blackpool yesterday, so I did the forum and himself did our FB page, and thus the morning passed quickly! I've had my shower, we've had our meal and now relaxing a bit before going dancing later on in the afternoon. Hugs for Ally and Debih xxxx Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all.

Sorry I'm late but I've been busy erecting new bookcases and sorting out our vast collection of books and DVDs.

Debih - I'm so sorry about your poor dog. I can imagine how you must feel. I do hope he gets better soon.

I hope Ally's mum is alright, and that no news is good news.

I'm going to have 40 winks now - I feel shattered.

Enjoy your day.
