Dentists

Postby jenniren » 12 May 2014, 12:47

This article in the mail had me laughing madly today, goodness know why as it's all too true and close for comfort........

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2625917/Black-Jacks-chocolate-cigars-trip-Torquemada-dentistry-Starting-today-Richard-Littlejohns-memories-evoke-lost-Britain-warmth-poignancy-laughter.html

It explains perfectly why so many people of my age are still petrified of dentists to this day.

Meltis Fruits were my undoing, whatever happened to them? Had a letter from my dentist to say I was due for a check up, dated 2001. :D

My first ever job after leaving school was as a dental assistant. I hated it because I was only 16 and I was scared stiff of the boss who was very stern. I only stayed a year but at least the smell of dental surgeries no longer gives me butterflies in the tummy because I got used to that.
