Skimpy tops, shorts, flip-flops.

No-one dresses up here - not to go to dinner or anything - well, unless you are certain Portuguese ladies (and probably English too ) who are dolled up to the nines, full slap and everything Tottering around on the calçadas in high heels - daft buggers

I got me bag packed , 2 pairs of shorts and 4 T-shirts and 1 pair of sandals

I have one pair of winter shoes, one pair of daps, ditto trainers

But about 5 pairs of flip-flops

There you are you see, you have lots more flipflops than me

At the moment I have ready:
1 pair blue flat flipflops for general around the pool etc. but I hate walking in them.
1 pair new black wedge-ish rather nice Sainsburys flipflops, since my linen trousers are too long for flats, and they'll go with black crops and white crops.
1 pair pretty blue sandals, go with almost everything, and suitable for the 10-minute or so walk into the village and around.
1 pair totally practical, frumpy walking sandals that I wear all the time and will be worn for walking anywhere and everywhere more than 10 yards during the day.

Apart from that I was going to wear trainers for the plane 'cos it's always so flipping cold
