Sorry I didn't manage to get online much - cottage had no wifi and hotel/coffee shop visits were too short to do much more than read - well who wants to be on the net when you have the fabbie Lakes to explore???

Back home now after possibly THE best holiday ever! Weather was dry every day, sunny and quite warm too in the main, Tom and I were never apart for the whole week and then my lovely brother and his wife came across yesterday and stayed with us - we did a 6 mile walk together that Alan had arranged which was most enjoyable - we all agreed we had never spent so much time together just us four before and it was long overdue Oh - just heaven!! Walking most mornings with picnics, a jacuzzi and swim about 4pm and then quiet evenings just the two of us with a huuuuuge bed and some telly - we did eat out a few times, Saturday we watched some live music, she was very good! I was upset to leave it all behind this morning
