Bb will need a beach (well pool) towel for the first morning :D
All he really wants from a holiday is a nice pool to loll by and plenty of books to read :D
And now he's getting new glasses in time too :D

Just looking at a list of what you can and can't take and is it just me or is this a ridiculous rule? You can't take a lighter in your hand luggage but you're allowed to put one in your plastic liquids bag...which you'd most likely put in your hand luggage for safe keeping.

Most of them are ridiculous, the make up rules for a start. Lipstick counts as a liquid!! You can carry nail scissors in your hand luggage, which could potentially stab someone, but not an extra lippy or your perfume! :?

Death by lipstick!

You can take safety matches but not normal matches. Either can be used to start a fire.
I don't know if the rules have changed re straighteners but years ago I was told to take mine out of my hand luggage and put them into my checked in bag, yet they're allowed, now at least.

Just a tip Di, if you want a soft drink or bottle of water while you're waiting to board or for on the flight, go to Boots (there's usually one after security) as they're generally pretty cheap.

The rules are so sexist..............

You ladies can take lippy and straighteners, but us lads can't take buzz saws or dynamite. It's not fair! :P
