Morning all.

OMG I'm so tired.

I went to my friends for a catch up on Wednesday (came away feeling much happier - she has heard no gossip about me, even though she has coffee once a fortnight with witch number 1 and her coven. They used to moan about the uniform but I was never really mentioned. Witch number 2 moans about me constantly to anyone who will listen but most people stopped listening a long time ago). I dragged myself home at 12.30 am.

Up early for a very short adoption panel followed by a clothes shopping trip with the girls. Then took S to get the too of her ear pierced. Ouch.

Then girls to my parents and out with friends. They had four tickets to go and see Ken Dodd at Buxton and offered two to us (their treat). He was hilarious but boy does he go on (we had been warned). He started at 7.30. The interval eventually took place at 10.30!!! We left at 12.15 as we had to get home - he was still going strong!!!!! He's 86 now - amazing.

Today I am off to clear out my car to hopefully go over to the garage to look at part exchanging it and test driving this Honda.

Morning :)
Rain. Lots of it.

Poor you Loz, let's hope it's on its way soon (((x)))
Enjoy your trip Ally, enjoy your cuppa Saundra :)
Have a fab weekend Osc :)

Bb's going to have his eyes tested this morning - btw for anyone interested all free eye tests at Tesco opticians :)
Don't know if he'll be able to get new glasses before our holiday but at least he'll have the new prescription ready.
We'll be juggling showers etc as he's having a new work thingy delivered and the old one collected, apparently sometime before 10.30. At least it's much easier than half-waiting all day :D
Other than that bits and pieces of all sorts for me today :)

Hope you all have a good day
Di
x
Ps Good luck with the car Debih :)
I saw Ken Dodd donkeys years ago in London, it was a cricket club outing I think - with his Diddymen :D

Moooorning everyone

Gorgeous morning here :D :D :D

And it's a holiday too - 40 years ago today, we had a revolution  and got rid of the dictator. Some will be celebrating today, others will not be.

So we'll be staying in and pootling, gardening and generally doing nowt

Hope you all have a good day, whatever the weather chucks at you and hope the poorlies are feeling better xx

Morning all :D

((((((((loz)))))))) hope you feel better soon xxx

Safe journey and a lovely weekend to all the travellers today.

I'm expecting my old boss around lunchtime today, she's notoriously unreliable, but as she's already texted me this morning to confirm it's all systems go.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all - rather wet and grey day here; apparently meant to dry and warm up but I'm not holding my breath. I've a friend coming to stay with me this evening so hope to finish work a bit earlier so I can catch an earlier train and pop into the shops

Debih - I was wondering how your evening had gone. Glad it went as it did and you left feeling better about the situation.
Kaz - are you all packed?
Loz- hope you do feel better soon

Safe travels to everyone that is going anywhere today or tomorrow and a lovely relaxing day to everyone else x

Good morning all.

Weather doesn't look very promising today, but we won't be doing much except getting things packed for our holiday.

Prince is getting excited now. He knows an adventure is forthcoming - new places to sniff around in!

Have a nice day.
