Good morning Good Friday

Morning all. Lovely and sunny but chilly.

I've had a busy morning - two loads of washing out beef stew in slow cooker and lemon drizzle cake made.

I've just made myself some sandwiches as I'm off to the allotment.

I have no idea what Mick is doing - nothing by the look of it. I'm not exactly sure what I've done but he isn't really speaking to me (I think it's after the onion argument on Wednesday). I can't be bothered so I'm going out!

Good afternoon all!

It's flippin' beautiful here! I took Billy through the woods and over the common for an hour this morning, I bumped into a neighbour in the woods on the way back so stood chatting while Bill ran around with her three gorgeous Springer Spaniels. I made a lemon drizzle cake when I got back, hoovered throughout the house, gave the bathrooms a good clean and mopped the kitchen floor. I've just had some lunch and now I'm watching some Big Bang Theory. John's been posting photos from Cardiff Bay on Facebook, I had to laugh at one - Joe couldn't look less impressed if he tried, he hates having his photo taken so I assumed it was that but when I looked at it on my laptop rather than on my phone I could see that his Nan's got her arm around him...not cool when you're 13

Going out for walk number 2 shortly, I quite fancy a hot cross bun but there's no point trying McColls for them and it'd take well over an hour to go to the nearest supermarket and back and I'd rather be walking Billy in that time

We've had one of those days you long for today

Long lie in, which for T is an annual event, lol, and then headed down to the seaside - as did everyone else! Seaburn/Roker wasn't too bad though, we parked and walked along the beach to our fave cafe where we had fish, chips and mushy peas, walked back to the car to work it off a bit, cuppa and a lie on the sofa to watch King of Kings (we did look for a Biblical film, we-e-ell, you have to really ) then a spot of weeding/tidying in the garden - all of this in gorgeous non-stop sunshine, and not too bad temps! And just the two of us

Work for me tomorrow morning

It's very much a Good Friday tradition hereabouts Jo - the queues outside all of the fish shops we passed were astronomical!!
