Morning Ally, Morning Ton   - hope you both have lovely days

Morning everyone!

Meant to be a nice warm day today but it's not quite there yet. About to get myself ready to pop out to the garden centre to pick up a few bits and bobs and then crack on in the garden; nearly done. I have a friend coming over for dinner tonight so have to clean the house before she arrives as well; so not as much garden time as hoped, but c'est la vie; tomorrow is another day.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all.

I'm aching all over this morning after spending a fair few hours on the allotment yesterday. We had really neglected it and it was very overgrown. I pulled out the manky old cabbages that we had let go to seed   and dug the ground over ready for the potatoes to go in. I did uncover some gorgeous purple sprouting broccoli though. Then I dug over the area ready for the onions to go in (we are so behind) and had a row with Mick about where they were actually going. And then I weeded all around the fruit bushes. I am intending on going back on Saturday to actually start planting things.

I'm at work this morning - I've had to come in and do some work on some press releases that have to go today. I'm leaving at 11am as I have to get the bus into town to get my nails done, go to the library, go to the SS office to get my panel pack and call into the building society before jumping back on the bus to go and fetch my car. It passed its MOT but needed new brake discs and a new exhaust back box (exactly what we were expecting it to need).

No plans for this evening though I might go out with Mick as we had a massive row last night (all started about the onions and then just escalated from there really).

I also want to try and think of somewhere to go with the girls over the weekend. We haven't had a family day out for ages and I think it will do us all good.

Morning all :D

It's so nice to wake up to a blue sky, hope it lasts :D

We're off to visit mother this morning, the CH give all the residents an Easter egg so we found a pretty cuddly bunny for her which I'm sure it will be a big success, she loves soft toys. Afterwards we're popping in to see my aunt and uncle for a quick coffee.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all.

Reading what some of you are doing today makes my activities seem very humdrum by comparison,
but I'm not complaining. I still enjoy my lifestyle, which is appropriate for an old bloke like me.

Have a lovely day everyone.
