Good afternoon all, it's a right soggy day here

We're stuck indoors so I've made a lemon drizzle cake. Tom's home as he has a horrible cold, he must be ill to stay off school - he usually struggles in whatever!
Talking of school, I'm going to be having a moan in another thread about that!

Glad Bb had a good night and is doing well Di! :)

Good afternoon everybody.

After an hour at the gym, shopping at Asda, then to Tesco for petrol then home for coffee.

After changing back to town to go to the bank and some more errands.

Back home for lunch and then just pottering including checking quiz board.

Out dancing this evening..
Vibes to those that need them

evening all :)

Been a busy wee day today, work as at the BCG clinic at the hospital, I have been going there twice a week to learn to do this injection and also do the whole consultation so am nearly going to be doing it on my own  the TB nurse specialist is currently sitting in the room with me to make sure I ask all the right things etc.

After work, collected Amy and we went swimming, she had been scared to go to deep end the other week as it is very deep pool, nearly 12ft, so anyway, went down and the lifeguard wanted to see her swim 2 lengths which she did :D :D so they were happy! We then went on to swim about 10 lengths - also done lots of widths of the pool too!

Oh, I haven't heard about that interview I went to on Thursday, they said they would phone the person 'early next week' so think I would have heard by close of play today, hey ho - will just keep my eyes peeled and have another few ideas in my head ;)

Hope everyone has had a good day

Very well done to Amy with her swimming! :D

Maybe you might hear something tomorrow...will the jobs you're thinking of still fit in with school holidays?

thanks Jo :D

well, the one I had the interview for was term time also but an other option I am looking into won't be, just means Amy will go to 'holiday club' which is run by her breakfast/after school club. At the moment she goes to breakfast club every day and as of next week will go to after school club on a Friday.

Poll, you might hear yet! If not then it wasn't meant, and something more 'you' will come along ((((((x)))))

thanks Kaz, its ironic as the interview went so well, I left thinking 'do I want this job' then over the weekend and a lot of thinking decided if I was offered it, I would take it, and it would be fab - but as me and my bestie friend said on Sunday, if I don't get it, its not meant to be and something better will come along!

time will tell but kind of thought I would have heard yesterday or today! I will no doubt receive a letter in a week or so saying I was unsuccessful, hey ho, can't win em all!
