Supposed to be a fast day here too
We were ever so good really, we didn't know how long we'd be and he was meant to eat so we both had a slice of toast before we went. I took a plain ham sandwich, which I ate (without crusts), and he was given toast after so had that.
But while others were talking of stopping at the chippy on the way home, we had some Thai turkey patties from the freezer, with lettuce as wraps, and cucumber, shredded spring onion, chillies, etc. And actually both agreed we felt better for it than the pasty or beans on toast we'd thought we might have
