It's a lovely Spring-like day here.

I've just been out with Prince, and for the first time this year I didn't
wear an overcoat or hat - and I was still too warm.

Now's it's 'off with the thermals' and the time for hay-making!!!

Have a lovely day.

We left home at 9.oo a.m in glorious sunshine. As we drove up the M6 it got colder and duller. Going along the M65 to Colne, the weather got wamer and the sun came out.
This afternoon, I have been in the garden. Mrs.e said I had to put sun cream on my face it was so warm at the back and wear a cap to stopmy scalp getting burnt.
Have mown the lawn for the second time this year. Am now waiting for rain so that I can spread fertiliser.
Have got lots of crocus and other bulbs in bloom so got plenty of colour.

It was just the most beautiful day for me yesterday - even managed to get the lawn mowed and the patio swept - it makes such a difference having things just that bit neater in the garden.

Today is another beautiful day, but alas, I'm in the office :(

At last we have sunshine here and it looks like a gorgeous day ahead.
I have some washing and some sewing to do, but hope to get into the garden this afternoon'

Funnily enough, just seen one in our back garden about 30 minutes ago. All our daffs have come out, virtually overnight!

It's been lovely here today. Though I did keep checking the temperature on my way back from Coalville and it was 11 degrees so not exactly boiling hot.
